This Packaging Standards page explains how FigureCollectora handles packaging, protection methods, and shipping preparation for collectible products.

By placing an order on FigureCollectora.com, you acknowledge and accept the packaging standards described below.

1. Packaging Purpose

Our packaging is designed primarily to ensure safe international transportation of collectible items.

The main priority is to protect the product itself, not to guarantee cosmetic perfection of outer packaging.

2. Standard Packaging Method

Depending on the product type, we may use one or more of the following packaging methods:

  • Original manufacturer box (if available)

  • Protective foam or molded inserts

  • Bubble wrap or air cushioning materials

  • Reinforced cardboard shipping box

  • Anti-collision filling materials (paper, foam, air bags)

  • Corner protection for fragile items

Packaging methods may vary depending on product size, weight, and shipping route.

3. Outer Box Condition

Outer packaging is considered protective material only.

During international shipping, outer boxes may experience:

  • Minor dents

  • Corner compression

  • Light scratches

  • Wrinkles or surface wear

  • Label marks or handling traces

These conditions are common in cross-border logistics and are not considered defects unless the internal product is damaged.

4. Internal Product Protection

We prioritize protecting the collectible item inside the packaging.

We take reasonable steps to ensure:

  • Product is securely fixed inside the box

  • Fragile parts are cushioned

  • Movement during transit is minimized

  • Multiple layers of protection are used for delicate items

However, due to the nature of international shipping, we cannot guarantee zero risk of damage in transit.

5. Factory Sealed Packaging

Where applicable, products may be shipped in factory-sealed packaging.

Please note:

  • Factory seals may be opened only for inspection purposes when necessary

  • Seal condition may vary by manufacturer

  • Seals are not guaranteed for all items or all suppliers

6. Shipping Reinforcement

For fragile or high-value collectibles, additional reinforcement may include:

  • Double boxing (inner + outer box)

  • Extra foam protection

  • Reinforced corner protection

  • Separated part packaging (for model kits or multi-part figures)

Reinforcement methods may vary depending on warehouse capability and product requirements.

7. Damage During Transit

While we take reasonable precautions, shipping damage may still occur due to:

  • Long-distance international transport

  • Carrier handling procedures

  • Customs inspections

  • Environmental conditions

If your item arrives with significant damage, please contact us according to our Refund Policy.

8. Packaging Variations

Packaging methods are not standardized for all products and may differ due to:

  • Supplier packaging differences

  • Warehouse location

  • Product size and fragility

  • Shipping carrier requirements

Such variations do not affect product authenticity or quality.

9. Customer Expectations

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Outer packaging is not guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition

  • Minor packaging wear is normal for international shipping

10. Inspection Before Shipment

We or our fulfillment partners may perform basic inspection before shipping, including:

  • Packaging integrity check

  • Visual verification of product condition

  • Reinforcement of fragile components when necessary

We do not perform factory-level reassembly or internal product testing.

11. Responsibility Limitation

FigureCollectora is not responsible for cosmetic damage to outer packaging that occurs during transit, provided the internal product remains intact and usable.

Claims related to packaging alone (without product damage) may not qualify for compensation unless required by applicable law.
