As one of the first people to receive Illyria's gift of eternal life as a vampire, the cruel knight Lord Edseck became one of the earliest generals in Illyria's lair. As centuries passed and the boredom of eternal life began, Lord Edseck was no longer satisfied with the immense power left to him as a vampire. Edseck's ambition drove him to search for the dark wizards Azhar and Zazar, and to reach an agreement to gain more power. He exchanged the lives of one hundred of his henchmen for a set of magical armor with immense power and near knife and gun resistance with the agents of Polksos. What Edseck didn't know was that he was tricked into putting on a suit of armor with parasitic spells, slowly depleting his vitality and causing him to disappear from the armor. Blood armor, known as Vorgus Vermilius, now wanders from one victim to another, leaving only the memories of the warriors it devoured.
